Obituary of Fred Jesse Lopez

Fred Lopez, 65 years of age, passed away Thursday December 14, 2023. Fred was born and raised in San Jose, CA on June 11, 1958, to his parents, Ranulfo, and Esperanza Lopez. He was the sixth of nine children.  

He proudly served in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserves. Fred married his wife Lourdes on December 27, 1980, in Mexicali, MX. The family moved to Sutter Creek, CA from San Jose, CA in August of 1992. 

Fred was a faithful follower of Christ and dedicated member of New Life Christian Center for 30 years. He served as an Elder Member, Councilman, and Usher for many years. He and his wife helped lead many mission trips to Mexico. He was a hard-working employee of Apple Computers for 28 years before he and Lourdes started Amador County Shuttle Service in 2014. Fred was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle to his family. He always put his family above all else.  

He is survived by his wife, Lourdes; four children, Gabriel, Abraham, Abelina, and Elizabeth; and six grandchildren, Abigail, Tabitha, Alejandro, Daniel, Miguel, and Catalina.
